What is my graduation year?

Graduation year is the last year which you spent in your school i.e the year you had your final examinations in the school you were at. For primary school, it would be the year you did your UPSR exams, for secondary school, the year you did your SPM exams.

How do I unregister for a class I have signed up?

I registered for the wrong graduation year and I want to change it. What do I do?

I put in the right login and password and Kawanaku.com says 'Authentication Sucessful', but still it asks me to login again. What is wrong?

For Kawanaku.com to work, your browser needs to be set to accept cookies. If your browser is not set to do that, then the login process wont work. Try to see if your browser is set to that or try to access the site using another browser and see. That should solve the problem.

I am not sure what my password is. Where can I find it?

No, you can only post messages to your own class message board. We once had the ability of everyone to share messages with other classes, but we have had a bad exprience with some people posting malicious messages and spamming other class message boards.

Can I Delete or Edit a message that I have posted to the message board of my class?

No, you cannot Delete or Edit messages that you post your class message boards. The postings are final.

People are using obscene/abusive language on the site or on my message board. What do I do?

People who are were not in my class have signed up in my class and are posting obscene/abusive messages on the message boards or in their souvenir area?

I cannot find my school in the listings. What do I do?

Why dont I see the email addresses of the members on the site?

For your own convenience, to avoid web robots or other marketing companies from snatching email addresses from our webpage and spamming your mailbox with junk mail, we do not the show the email address directly on the webpage. Instead, we have the email address as a link. When you click on the email link, it should normally automatically start your default email software and put the email address of the person in your email software so that you can send them email.

I received a notification email of someone new signing up for my class, but when I go to the website, I cannot find any new signees. What does that mean?

We try to monitor the people signing in as much as possible and numerous times, we have found people signing in with fake names and emails. As soon as we find such occurences, we delete the accounts immediately. Hence, you will not find the names even though you have got notification of new signees. Also sometimes, people who sign up, realise that they have signed up for the wrong year and request to be changed to another year. So when these people accounts are transposed, you will not see them either in your class roll.

I do not want to receive notifications of new members who sign up for my class. What do I do?

This option can be set from your user preferences. You can set your Kawanaku.com account to not receive notifications when new members sign up, by logging in your account and then click on Modify my Information. From there, check off the box which says, Email me when a new member signs up for my class.

I do not want to get emails when members of my class post messages on the class board.
